Energise Energy specialise in EV charging installation and Smart Metering Solutions.


We have an excellent opportunity for an Installation Validator, to join our ever-expanding team in Doncaster! 




The Installation Validators are responsible for completing a meticulous internal desktop audit on 100% of the MEX/AMR work of the engineers, ensuring consistency in process, data quality and a robust asset on the wall.


  • Completing a desk top audit on 100% of the MEX/AMR work of the engineers with the principal aims of ensuring data quality, that the meter is secure and correctly labelled, the old meter successfully exchanged and that there is a robust asset on the wall.
  • Meticulously and consistently following a standard procedure, carrying out all required checks on the jobs while accurately completing all required documentation
  • Raising any non-conformance issues and pro-actively manage to conclusion
  • Responsibility for resolving issues by communicating with engineers in a confident manner, and tracking progress of issues
  • Updating systems in a timely and accurate manner, taking pride in the quality of data input
  • Report any known or suspected defects or failings in the Compliance Management System without delay.
  • Collectively work with other teams and the wider industry to improve knowledge, levels of engagement and service
  • Responsibility for continuous improvement and innovation by understanding and escalating known replicated issues, identifying, and providing reporting and analysis on these issues as appropriate
  • Proactively look to improve efficiency and the customer journey by, for example, reducing the volume of exceptions
  • Proactively look to challenge and change the current way of working by looking at our processes, understanding the impact of our work, proactively questioning, and discussing issues to aid mutual understanding – all with the end customer in mind
  • Salary £19-21K (Dependant on experience)
  • 22 days holiday allowance - extra days holiday on your yearly work anniversary (up to 30 days)

Role requirements 


  • Previous industry experience an advantage
  • First class attention to detail with the ability to meticulously follow process and identify issues
  • Strong problem solving with the ability to raise and manage issues with colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues
  • Attention to detail, with a pride in providing accurate and timely data
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to take responsibility for own work, and work independently, in a high volume and often pressurised environment
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and raise as appropriate
