Customer Account Manager

At Green Spark we are growing rapidly and need to increase numbers in our team of customer account managers. We specialise in bespoke pollution prevention, drainage and environmental services with blue chip, multi-site organisations, particularly contract logistics, warehousing and FM providers. We fix, audit, report, recommend and manage works to support our client's operations and compliance.

The Accounts Managers are the front line of our operations team. Acting as the first point of contact for clients on either reactive calls or working in partnership to agree planned preventative maintenance schedules or small works. Exceptional standards of customer service, commercial awareness, self-drive, and independent problem-solving abilities are key to this role.

What's involved?

  • End-to-end management of all incoming calls, including understanding the requirements, quoting for works, collating relevant risk assessments, planning attendance, briefing of engineers, and progressing jobs to invoice
  • Monitor purchasing and hire equipment for works relating to the job in hand
  • Being the central point of contact for the client, engineers on site, and the operations centre
  • Ensure all information workflow is entered and updated in the Client Relationships System (CRM) through to final invoicing
  • Prepare comprehensive works reports and supply to the client along with all relevant waste disposal paperwork
  • Actively work to build knowledge and rapport with clients and engineers which may involve occasional visiting sites across the UK
  • Proactive management of accounts to meet agreed Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules of works

Knowledge and experience of working within the drainage, environmental, pollution prevention or minor construction sectors would be a definite advantage.

Monday to Friday is mostly office based, with an additional requirement to be on call on a rota basis for evenings and weekends (which can be working from home) approximately one shift per week. Additional payments for when on call.

We require at least 5 years experience as an Account Manager.
