Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Manager

We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Manager to join our team and help us deliver improvement projects and initiatives, including accelerating our development in ESG. The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Lead on the implementation of CI projects from project initiation and business case development to successful implementation.

· Utilise appropriate project management methodologies and documentation and supported by the various working groups and employee forums.

· Assist the Commercial Director to develop and manage a CI framework (associated reporting, review processes, associated service improvement project controls and monitoring processes).

· Lead on the day-to-day management and delivery of 2Excel’s sustainment and ESG policy.

· Provide continuity between the Steering Group and Employee Working Groups.

· Steer the development and operation of the company’s environmental management systems including the management of ISO14001 processes and systems.

 

The following skills, knowledge and experience are essential for this role:

· Experience coordinating complex projects successfully.

· Demonstrate the delivery of continuous improvement and change management.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high degree of comfort with influencing and communicating findings to senior leadership.

· Proven presentation skills, including use of Microsoft Packages.

· Experience of delivering Sustainability policy and ISO14001 in a complex organisation.

 

Desirable skills and expertise:

· Experience in complex cross-functional project management, handling multiple priorities, and influencing varied stakeholders.

· In depth understanding of continuous improvement concepts

· ESG specialist with knowledge of the aviation sector.

· Change Management experience.

This role is primarily about supporting Continuous Improvement Initiatives, as well as facilitating 2Excel’s sustainability programme (ISO14001). The successful candidate will support the Commercial Director and hold a position on the company’s ESG Steering Group with output often having visibility at Management Board and Board level.

Due to the requirement to travel, candidates should also have a full UK driving license. However, hybrid working is an option for this role.
